Welcome to My House

Hi, I'm Bára! This year, I live with the Parker family in Columbus. Their house is next to Jake's house. In Czechia, my family lives in an apartment, so an American house is a big change for me.

In front of the house, there is a big yard with green grass. There isn't a fence. There is a porch with two chairs, and there is a basketball hoop above the garage door.

On the first floor, there is a living room, a kitchen and a small bathroom. There are some photos of the family on the walls. The kitchen is huge! There is a big fridge and there are two ovens.

Upstairs, there are three bedrooms. My room is next to the bathroom. There is a bed under the window and there is a desk between the bed and the closet. There aren't any posters on the walls yet.

Under the house, there is a basement. There are some old bikes, a washing machine and a TV. Is there a basement in your house?
