Unusual Homes

Most people live in houses or apartments. But some homes are very unusual.

A treehouse. This home is up in a tree, about five meters above the ground. There is a ladder, and there is a small bedroom with a big window. There aren't any neighbors, only birds!

A houseboat. There are a lot of houseboats on the canals of Amsterdam. On a houseboat, there is a kitchen, a bathroom and a bedroom, and there are some flowers on the roof. The water is all around the home.

An igloo. An igloo is a house of snow. There aren't any windows or doors, only a small entrance. Inside, it's about zero degrees, but outside it's minus thirty! Today, people often build igloos for fun or for one night.

A tiny house. A tiny house is very small, sometimes only fifteen square meters. There is a bed above the kitchen, and there are boxes under the stairs. Some tiny houses are on wheels, so the home can travel with you!
