Saturday, October 4

Today was great! The Parkers and I visited Alum Creek Lake, about forty minutes from Columbus. We arrived at ten o'clock. The weather was sunny, but it was cold.

First, we walked around the lake and watched the ducks. Then Mr. Parker cooked hot dogs on a grill. They were delicious! In the afternoon, we played volleyball on the beach. Lily, the Parkers' daughter, jumped into the lake. The water was really cold! She screamed, and we all laughed.

In the evening, we stayed at home and watched a funny movie. I was tired, but happy.

Sunday, October 5

Sunday was boring. It rained all day. I stayed in my room and talked to my mom in Czechia on a video call. She asked about everything: school, food, the Parkers. I missed my family a little. Then Jake called, and we played a game online. It was a good end to the weekend.
