Mock test 1 · listening part 3

Number 1. What is Lucy going to study at college?

Lucy, have you decided what you're going to study?

Finally, yes. My parents wanted me to be a doctor like my grandpa, and I also thought about law for a while.

You were always good at art, though.

Art is my hobby, and I want to keep it that way. I've been programming since I was twelve, so I applied for computer science, and I got in!

Number 2. What does the man order?

Are you ready to order, sir?

I think so. The burger looks great, but I had one yesterday. Is the soup vegetarian?

No, I'm afraid it's chicken soup today.

Then I'll have the grilled fish with a green salad, please. And just water, thanks.

Number 3. Where are Ben's keys?

I can't find my keys! I'm sure I had them in my bag.

Did you leave them at the café? You put your bag on the table there.

No, I remember putting them back in my bag after I paid. Maybe I left them under the flower pot, like the spare key?

Ben, look! They're right there in the door. You opened it and forgot them.

Number 4. Which sport does Anna do now?

Anna, do you still swim every morning?

Not anymore. The pool is closed for a year, so I tried tennis, but I wasn't very good at it.

My sister started running. Maybe you could join her?

I hate running! Actually, my friend asked me to join her volleyball team last month, and I love it. We practice twice a week.
