Task two. Four young people are talking about social media.
Speaker 1.
Last year, someone from my school made a fake profile with my photos and started writing horrible comments under my name. I didn't know who it was, and for weeks I was afraid to go to school. In the end, my parents went to the head teacher and the profile was deleted. I'm still online, but I'm much more careful now about what I share.
Speaker 2.
I used to spend six or seven hours a day scrolling, and my grades were falling. Now I have an app on my phone that blocks social media after one hour. At first I tried to find ways around it, but now I'm used to it. I read more, and I've even started running in the evenings.
Speaker 3.
Honestly, I don't post much, and I don't care about likes. I follow scientists, museums and language teachers. Yesterday I watched a short video about black holes, and today I learned five new Spanish phrases. For me, social media is like a free school that's open all night.

I deleted all my accounts six months ago, and I haven't missed them. My friends thought I was crazy, and some of them stopped inviting me to things because I didn't see the messages. Now they just call me. I feel calmer, and I sleep much better than before.
